Who is Jaish-e-Mohammad recruiter arrested in Faridabad? Explained

India

Irfan Ahmad Wagah, an imam from Jammu and Kashmir, was arrested on November 11 after police busted a terror module in Faridabad.
Authorities say Ahmad and his wife played a big part in convincing medical professionals and young people to join extremist groups.
Before this, Ahmad worked as a paramedic at Srinagar's Government Medical College.

Police believe Ahmad's arrest will stop further attacks

Investigators linked Ahmad's wife to the radicalization of Dr. Shaheen, who helped start a women's wing for Jaish.
The couple's phones had messages pushing extremist activities, and police traced Jaish-e-Mohammad posters in Nowgam back to Ahmad.
He was also connected with Dr. Muzammil Shakeel—tied to the Red Fort blast case—highlighting how professionals can get pulled into terrorism plots.
Police see his arrest as a move to stop further attacks before they happen.
