What are the causes of premature hair greying?

Here's how Ayurveda can help
According to Ayurveda, greying of hair is called palitya , which occurs due to the imbalance of Pitta dosha. It essentially means that the heat balance in the body gets disturbed, leading to grey hair.
Here are some Ayurvedic treatments to cure it.
1) Nasya Karma: In this process, oil is administered into nasal roots, which is a natural therapeutic treatment for hair.
Shirodhara is a therapy that involves pouring of warm, herbal oil on forehead in order to relieve stress and calm the mind. Since oil is absorbed through the scalp, the treatment helps in reducing hair problems such as hair fall, dandruff, grey hair, etc.
3) Shiro lepa
This Ayurvedic therapy involves applying a herbal paste onto the crown chakra, and massaging the head gently with medicated oils.
This treatment can help reduce hair fall and premature hair greying. It is also known to relieve stress, nourish your skin, and promote detoxification.
However, it is advisable to seek the help of experts before going for these therapies- avoid trying them at home.
