Seats

AIMIM leading in 5 seats

Muslims have traditionally backed secular coalitions. However, according to ECI data, the RJD is losing at least seven Muslim-majority seats it won in the 2020 election. Congress was trailing in four seats it previously held. Only the Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM appears to be headed in a favorable direction, leading in five seats. AIMIM had won five seats last time too, all in Seemanchal region.
