Caught-on-camera: RJD minister, on 'study tour', forcibly dances with woman

It's a well-known fact that some men know the art of making women uncomfortable a bit too well. This is what RJD lawmaker Yaduvansh Kumar Yadav did when he went to Northeast on a "study tour". Yadav and his accomplices were seen dancing with a woman, whose expressions narrated tales of her discomfort. A video of the incident has gone viral. Here's what happened.

Yadav was accompanied by his colleagues

Yadav, who is an MLA from Pipra, along with his colleagues went to Moreh town near India-Myanmar border on June 1. Those who accompanied him were BJP's Sachin Prasad Singh, JD(U)'s Raj Kumar Rai and Raja Pakar of his own party. The purpose of the visit was to "take stock of the development program" following the guidelines of NDA's "Act East" policy.

As woman hesitated, the lawmakers 'danced' with her

Putting the goal of the visit aside, the lawmakers indulged in merriment (read harassment). They danced with a woman, who according to Imphal Times is a teen, despite her obvious protests. The men took turns to hug the woman, kept their hands on her body, and at one point even forced her to gulp down a drink. The video's authenticity couldn't be verified.

Subsequently, Yadav called the video 'fake'

After the video showed the shamelessness of the lawmakers, they rushed to speak in their defense. According to Jagran, Yadav claimed the video was "fake". He said he plans to file a defamation case too. Separately, RJD's Shivchandra Ram, who was also part of the delegation, denied any links with the video. He called for a proper investigation and claimed he was being maligned.
