Situation is under control
Calling the district police "cowardly and weak," the three-time MLA demanded the deployment of central forces. The police explained that the brief commotion happened over rumors about booth capturing, adding the situation has been brought under control. "We came here and found that voting is being held peacefully. If anyone were stopped from casting their votes, there would not be a queue," District police chief Ajay Kumar said. He also refuted the claims that the BJP's polling agent was intimidated.
Claims
Polling agent threatened
Earlier, Sinha had also accused the RJD of threatening a polling agent during the first phase of voting in Halsi block. Sinha alleged that despite peaceful polling, some RJD members displayed a "booth-capturing mindset." He said his party has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission and demanded action against those involved.

'RJD-Congress symbols of anarchy'
"RJD and Congress are symbols of anarchy and do not refrain from booth-capturing. Their mindset is a curse to democracy. Perhaps they have forgotten that Bihar has good governance. Terror and extremism have ended and now it is the turn of crime to leave the state," Sinha said. Sinha is contesting against Congress's Amrish Kumar, Suraj Kumar of the Jan Suraj Party, and Praval Kumar of Bahujan Samaj Party in Lakhisarai.
