    What's the story

    Full specifications of the Huawei P20 Pro and the P20 smartphones have been leaked online ahead of their official launch in Paris on March 27 (2PM IST).

    The major difference between the two phones is that while the P20 Pro will have a triple camera setup, the P20 will only have dual primary cameras.

    The phones might be priced at Rs.72,100 and Rs.54,600, respectively.

    Huawei P20 Pro to have 40MP camera and super zoom

    The Huawei P20 Pro will reportedly feature three rear cameras comprising of 40MP+20MP and 8MP sensors.

    It will also have a premium hybrid zoom support which translates into 3x optical zoom and 5x magnification.

    Meanwhile, the absence of a third primary sensor in the P20 has resulted in the phone featuring a low optical zoom of 2x.

    Similarities

    Both phones to have 24MP front camera, slow-mo video recording

    However, both the phones will reportedly feature a 24MP front camera and slow-mo video recording at 960fps in 720p resolution.

    Further, both the smartphones will be powered by the company's home-based Kirin 970 processor and run the EMUI 8.1, which is based on the Android Oreo 8.1 operating system.

    They will also have 128GB of inbuilt storage and a notch on the front.

    Differences

    P20 Pro will have 6GB RAM, while P20 4GB RAM

    The Huawei P20 Pro will feature a 6.1-inch display, 6GB of RAM, and a 4000 mAh battery.

    On the other hand, the Huawei P20 will feature a 5.8-inch LCD display, but with an odd aspect ratio of 18.7:9.

    It will come with 4GB of RAM, dual rear cameras comprising of 20MP+12MP sensors, and a 3,400 mAh battery with SuperCharge technology.

    Variants

    Huawei might also launch P20 Lite, P20 Porsche Edition

    Reports suggest that Huawei might launch another variant of the smartphone called the P20 Lite for approximately Rs. 30,000.

    It will feature a 5.8-inch display, 4GB of RAM, a lower battery of 3,000mAh, and 16MP+2MP rear camera sensors. It will be powered by a lower-end Kirin 659 processor.

    Finally, there might also be a costly Huawei P20 Porsche Edition, which will feature 256GB storage.
