Apple reportedly has 8 more products planned for 2026
What's the story
Apple is rumored to have eight more products lined up for announcement this year, following the recent launch of the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro models, smartwatches, and new AirPods. The tech giant may also host an October event this year to showcase the upcoming devices. The first on this list is an iPad mini with A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, OLED display, and water-resistant design.
Mac updates
New iMac and entry-level MacBook Pro
The upcoming Apple product lineup also includes an iMac with the M6 chip and new color options.
A new 14-inch base model of the MacBook Pro, powered by the M6 chip, is also on the cards.
However, the MacBook Pro with a touchscreen OLED display, M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, a Dynamic Island, and a thinner design, may not be seen until late 2026 or early 2027.
Home tech
Next-gen Apple TV and HomePod mini
The next-gen Apple TV is expected to come with an A17 Pro chip or newer, 8GB RAM for Apple Intelligence, Siri AI support, and an updated Siri Remote. The device will look similar to the current model.
Meanwhile, the HomePod mini will get a new chip with Siri AI support, improved sound quality, and Apple's N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 support.
Smart home
Smart home hub with Siri AI
Apple is also working on a new smart home hub with Siri AI, a 6-inch to 7-inch square display, and an A18 chip or newer for Apple Intelligence.
The device will come with FaceTime capabilities and more. It will be available in two versions: tabletop with speaker base and wall-mounted.
Headphone launch
Beats 360 headphones with AirPods Max-like design
Apple is also expected to announce new over-ear Beats 360 headphones with an AirPods Max-like design.
The headphones will feature interchangeable ear cushions and headbands, up to 1.75x more noise cancelation than the Beats Studio Pro, and IPX4-rated water resistance.
The official announcement for these products is likely before the end of September.
