ASUS launches advanced dual-screen laptop at Rs. 2.1 lakh

ASUS has launched its flagship ZenBook Pro Duo laptop in India today. The premium model features a futuristic design with dual 4K displays, a full-sized keyboard, and top-of-the-line internals.
Alongside this variant, the Taiwanese tech giant has also introduced a cheaper ZenBook Duo as well as updated ZenBook and VivoBook models.

From the outside, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo looks like any other premium laptop. However, on the inside, it is a whole new world because of its dual 4K screens.
It features an HDR-compatible 15-inch 16:9 OLED main display along with a 32:9 IPS "ScreenPad Plus" secondary screen. Below the smaller display, there's a full-sized keyboard and a number pad-cum-trackpad on the right corner.

While the main display is great, the ScreenPad Plus steals the show.
The matte-finished screen comes preloaded with ScreenXpert software which enables multi-screen window and app management. This means you can use it as a full 32:9 monitor or split it into two smaller 16:9 1080p windows.
Moreover, you can de-clutter your main display by placing apps, toolbars, and menus on the ScreenPad Plus.

The flagship laptop is powered by upto an eight-core Intel Core i9 processor, coupled with upto 32GB of RAM, 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD, and gaming-grade NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.
It also packs four far-field microphones that allow you to summon Alexa and Cortana with voice commands.
Lastly, it offers a Thunderbolt 3 port, two USB-A ports, a headphone jack, and HDMI port.

Alongside the Pro model, ASUS has unveiled a more affordable 14-inch model called the ZenBook Duo. It carries the same design as Duo Pro but with full HD screens, upto Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU.
The company has also introduced ZenBook 15, ZenBook 14, and ZenBook 13 models with Intel 10th-generation processors.

The ZenBook Pro Duo (UX581) and the ZenBook Duo (UX481) come at a starting price of Rs. 2,09,990 and Rs. 89,990, respectively. Further, the refreshed ZenBook 13 (UX334), ZenBook 14 (UX434), and ZenBook 15 (UX534) were launched for Rs. 84,990, Rs. 84,990 and Rs. 1,24,990, respectively.
Finally, the company has also launched the VivoBook S431 for Rs. 54,990 and VivoBook S532 for Rs. 69,990.
