Blue Origin's NASA Mars mission launch delayed again

Technology

Blue Origin had to hit pause on its first NASA mission with the New Glenn rocket because of stormy weather at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The launch was called off after clouds broke safety rules meant to prevent lightning strikes.
This mission was supposed to send NASA's ESCAPADE probes to study Mars's magnetic field—marking the first time a private rocket would take on this kind of Mars science.

New target launch date is no earlier than November 12

The new target launch date is no earlier than November 12, depending on how the weather shapes up.
With its massive 98-meter frame and seven BE-4 engines, New Glenn is a big deal for Blue Origin's future in space launches.
If all goes well, ESCAPADE could reach Mars by 2027, helping NASA get a better handle on what makes the Red Planet tick.
