Indian women more confident than men in using AI tools
Technology
According to a new LinkedIn report, Indian women are outpacing men in confidence and engagement with artificial intelligence at work.
An impressive 90% of women feel comfortable using AI tools, higher than the 86% of men, flipping the usual global trend where men tend to dominate tech confidence.
Women actively picking up AI skills
The report also shows that 35% of Indian women are actively picking up AI skills, compared to just 29% of men.
Plus, 71% believe AI will help them land better jobs (versus 63% of men), and over three-quarters (76%) plan to look for new jobs in 2026.
Experts say this shift is thanks to broader access to tech learning, helping more women break into technology-driven fields.
