Instagram's new 'Your Algorithm' lets you see (and shape) your Reels feed

Instagram just dropped a feature called "Your Algorithm" that shows you exactly how its AI decides which Reels pop up in your feed.
Tap the two-lines-with-hearts icon while watching a Reel, and you'll see the topics Instagram thinks you're into—based on what you watch and interact with.

Make your Reels more you

Now, you can actually tweak these topics—hide ones you're over or add new interests to get fresher content.
It's kind of like TikTok's "Manage Topics," but Instagram is aiming for an even more personalized vibe.
For now, it's US-only and in English, but global rollout is coming soon. Plus, Instagram says these controls will expand to Explore and other parts of the app down the line.
