Moto G6 Plus to soon launch in India, hints Motorola
Lenovo-owned Motorola has teased the arrival of its Moto G6 Plus smartphone in India. The Moto G6 Plus will join G6 and G6 Play, which saw their global launch in April this year and arrived in India last month. The phone tops the G-series with a slightly bigger display, faster processor, and more RAM than G6 and G6 Play. Here's our roundup.
Up front, the Moto G6 Plus features thick top and bottom bezels while the rear panel, which holds the dual camera setup, gets curved edges and a reflective finish. In terms of display, Moto G6 Plus is likely to feature a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is expected to come in Indigo and Gold color options.
Motorola is highlighting a 'smart' camera in the Moto G6 Plus and one can expect some AI-powered features like Portrait and Bokeh mode. The phone will sport a dual rear-camera setup comprising a 12MP f/1.7 primary sensor and a 5MP f/2.2 secondary sensor, along with dual-tone LED flash. Up front, Moto G6 Plus gets an 8MP sensor with 80-degree viewing angle and f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto G6 Plus is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (expandable up to 128GB). It supports dual-SIM (Nano) cards, runs Android Oreo 8.0 and packs 3,200mAh with support for TurboPower fast charging.
