Motorola One Hyper launched with 32MP pop-up selfie camera

After several leaks and teasers, Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched its camera-centric One Hyper for $400. The key highlights of the phone include its 64MP main sensor, 32MP pop-up selfie snapper, latest stock Android 10 UI, and 45W Hyper Charging technology. However, there is no word on the availability of the handset in India yet. Here's more.

A look at the Motorola One Hyper

Motorola One Hyper comes with an all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up mechanism for the selfie camera. On the rear, the splash resistant glossy panel houses dual cameras and a physical fingerprint sensor. The handset features a 6.5-inch LCD display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

In the camera department, Motorola One Hyper houses dual rear cameras including a mighty 64MP (f/1.8) main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 118-degree field-of-view. Up front, there is a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper housed in the motorized pop-up module. The main camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps whereas the selfie snapper can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

    Under the hood

The Motorola One Hyper is powered by a Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It runs stock Android 10 as part of Android One program and packs a 4,000mAh battery with 45W Hyper Charging technology. In addition, it offers all latest connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.

Finally, what about pricing and availability?

As for the pocket pinch, Motorola One Hyper is priced at $400 (approximately Rs. 28,600). It is currently available in select international markets including Latin America and Europe. However, there is no word on the handset's availability in India as of now.
