    What's the story

    ZTE-owned Nubia has finally launched its Red Magic smartphone in India.

    Priced at Rs. 29,999, the gaming-centric phone features a full-HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 8GB of RAM and a dedicated air-cooling technology.

    The Nubia Red Magic will go on sale starting today, exclusively via Amazon.

    Nubia Red Magic: At a glance

    Made using an aviation-grade aluminum alloy, the phone sports a traditional rectangular display with slim top and bottom bezels.

    On the back, there's a distinct angular design with hexagonal cut-outs for the camera and fingerprint scanner, and a strip of customizable RGB LED light.

    The Nubia Red Magic sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) LTPS TFT display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

    Nubia Red Magic: Designed for gamers

    For unhindered gaming experience, the Nubia Red Magic comes with an air-cooling technology with nine radiation vents as well as three-layered graphite lamination technology. The phone also has a dedicated gaming button that allows you to disable notifications and activate GameBoost mode for improved performance.

    Under the hood

    The Nubia Red Magic is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with Adreno 540 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.

    Further, the phone runs Android Oreo and packs a 3,800mAh battery which supports NeoPower 3.0 fast charging technology.

    It also comes with GameBoost - a proprietary performance-boosting software which enhances the gaming experience by freeing up memory.

    Camera specs, connectivity options and more

    In the camera department, the Nubia Red Magic sports a 24MP (f/1.7) rear camera and an 8MP (f/2.0) front camera.

    Its connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

    Sensors onboard the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

    As mentioned before, the Nubia Red Magic costs Rs. 29,999 for the solo 8GB/128GB configuration. In terms of availability, the phone will go on sale starting December 20 at 12 midnight, exclusively via Amazon.
