OpenAI just rolled out ChatGPT Health to work with Epic's electronic health records, making it easier for clinicians to pull together patient information like lab results, medications, and notes, all in one place.

The AI is built to help out (not replace) health care professionals and only has read-only access, so your data stays untouched.

OpenAI also launched a plug-in that taps into public medical databases for things like drug details and clinical trial information.

Nearly all ChatGPT responses were considered safe, but even a few unsafe answers can lead to harmful results for humans.
