What's the story

OPPO has teased its upcoming foldable smartphone, the Find N6. The teaser video gives a first look at the design and color variants of the new flagship device. It shows a book-like folding mechanism for the Find N6, much like its predecessor, the Find N5. The video also hints at a reduced crease on the inner display, which is often a major concern for users of foldable phones. The official launch is set for March 17 in China.

Camera details

200MP main camera with Hasselblad technology

The official teaser has confirmed that the OPPO Find N6 will sport a 200MP main camera with Hasselblad technology. However, the rest of the camera setup is still under wraps. This major upgrade in the camera system comes as part of OPPO's focus on user feedback and improving durability and crease control on their devices.

Stylus support

AI pen support

The OPPO Find N6 will also support a new OPPO AI Pen, a feature not commonly seen in foldable phones. This move comes after Samsung removed S Pen support from its Galaxy Z Fold7 last year. The addition of stylus support could set the Find N6 apart from other devices in the market and enhance user experience.

Global launch on March 17

The OPPO Find N6 will be launched globally on March 17, according to the company's official website. However, it is still unclear if the device will be available in other markets apart from China. Notably, this could also be OPPO's first foldable phone launch in India. Its sister brand OnePlus had launched a rebadged version of the OPPO Find N3 as OnePlus Open in 2023 at ₹1,39,999.
