Realme 3i launched in India, price starts at Rs. 8,000
Alongside the Realme X's launch, Chinese tech giant Realme has also launched the pocket-friendly Realme 3i in India. The budget-range smartphone comes with a waterdrop notched design, HD+ display, dual rear cameras, and entry-level internals. Notably, the handset starts at Rs. 7,999 and will go on sale starting July 23 via Flipkart and Realme's online store. Here is our roundup.
Up front, the Realme 3i sports a waterdrop notched display with a noticeable bottom bezel, while the rear panel, with a diamond-cut design, houses dual cameras and a physical fingerprint sensor. The handset features a 6.22-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Moreover, it comes in Diamond Blue, Diamond Black, and Diamond Red color options.
The Realme 3i houses vertically stacked dual rear cameras comprising a 13MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera offers photography features such as PDAF, panorama, HDR, bokeh effect, and is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. Up front, the phone sports a 13MP (f/2.0) single selfie snapper.
The Realme 3i is fueled by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor, paired with upto 4GB of RAM and upto 64GB of expandable storage. The handset runs on Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 and is backed by a 4,230mAh battery. Lastly, it offers all standard sensors and connectivity options including Dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-FI, Bluetooth, GPS, micro-USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
In India, the Realme 3i starts at Rs. 7,999 for its base-end 3GB/32GB storage variant, while the top-end model with 4GB/64GB configuration is priced at Rs. 9,999. Talking about launch offers, buyers can avail Rs. 1,000 flat discount and 5% cashback on payments using Axis bank cards. Lastly, it will lock horns with Samsung Galaxy M20, Redmi Note 7S and LG W30.
