    Realme 5 to go on flash sale at 8pm today

    Realme-5'>Realme 5, the recently-launched budget range handset, is set to go on another flash sale in India. The smartphone will be up for grabs starting 8pm via Flipkart and Realme's official website. As for the key highlights, the phone comes with waterdrop notched design, quad rear cameras, a solid 5,000mAh battery, and mid-level internals. Here's our roundup.

    First, a look at the pricing and sale offers

    The Realme 5 costs Rs. 9,999 for the entry-level 3GB/32GB model, Rs. 10,999 for the mid-level 4GB/64GB variant, and Rs. 11,999 for the top-end model with 4GB/128GB configuration. Talking about offers, buyers can avail upto Rs. 2,000 cashback on payments using Paytm UPI, free Paytm First membership worth Rs. 750, and benefits worth Rs. 7,000 from Reliance Jio.

    Here's a look at the Realme 5

    As far as specifications are concerned, Realme 5 features an edge-to-edge look with a small display cut-out on the top-center and a thin bezel at the bottom. On the rear, the gradient finished polycarbonate panel houses four cameras and a physical fingerprint scanner. Further, it sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.

    For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

    The Realme 5 houses quad rear cameras comprising a 12MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor for bokeh effect. Up front, the phone sports a 13MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter. Moreover, the main camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps, while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

    Under the hood

    The Realme 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, coupled with upto 4GB RAM and upto 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it runs Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support. Furthermore, it gets all standard sensors and latest connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, micro-USB port, and headphone jack.
