Reliance Jio launches internship program for students. Details here
Reliance Jio has launched a five-week internship program called Digital Champions. Under this action-oriented program, candidates will learn about digital technologies and how they can positively impact small and medium businesses (SMBs). The internship will guide them through a digital toolkit on new-age problem solving, practical applications, and how to imbibe their learnings in real-world business challenges.
The five-week Digital Champions Program will be held in four batches, with them starting on May 21, June 4, June 11, and June 18, respectively. Undergraduate students can choose from over 800 cities and towns to enroll in the batch of their choice. However, due to limited openings in each location, applications will be catered to on a first-come-first-serve basis.
To register, visit careers.jio.com/champions. You'll be sent an online assessment test link on your registered email ID and mobile number which should take no longer than five minutes to complete. It consists of 15 multiple choice questions with a mix of basic verbal, reading, arithmetic and general awareness topics. You need to complete the assessment within two days for your application to be considered.
For four-year undergraduate courses in any stream, students who have completed their first and second year are eligible to apply. For three-year undergraduate courses, students who have completed their first year are eligible to apply.
Neither is there any fees associated with the program, nor will Jio provide any monetary benefits to selected candidates. Further, you don't have to submit any mark sheet or certificate from your college in order to apply for the internship. "The two documents you need to apply are your College ID and Aadhaar Card," Jio said.
"As we will be measuring your progress on a regular basis every week, you would be required to invest an appropriate amount of time as required to complete your weekly deliverables," the company said in a statement.
