As the latest addition to its revamped Galaxy A series of smartphones, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A70 in India. The mid-range phone, which was recently launched in China, comes with a full-HD+ Infinity-U display, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, triple rear cameras, and mid-level internals including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. Samsung Galaxy A70: At a glance
In terms of design, A70 looks like a larger version of Galaxy A50 with a U-shaped notched display, a slim bottom bezel, triple cameras, and 3D Glasstic body. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a full-HD+ resolution (1080x2400 pixels) and a taller 20:9 aspect ratio. Further, the phone also offers an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The Galaxy A70 comes with a triple rear-camera setup featuring a 32MP (f/1.7) main sensor, paired with an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide angle sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. The main camera also comes with a Scene Optimiser feature that can analyze the scenes to enhance color, contrast, and brightness. Up front, there's a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie camera which supports AR Emoji and Selfie Focus.

The Galaxy A70 is powered by an 11nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable upto 512GB). Under the hood, it packs a massive 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W Super Fast charging. Lastly, like all new Samsung smartphones, the Galaxy A70 also runs Android Pie-based One UI out of the box.

In India, the Galaxy A70 costs Rs. 28,990 for the solo 6GB RAM/128GB storage model. The phone will be available for pre-booking from April 20. Further, if you pre-order the phone, you'll be able to buy Samsung U Flex Bluetooth headset worth Rs. 3,799 for Rs. 999. Lastly, the Galaxy A70 will go on sale starting May 1 through Flipkart and other company stores.
