Galaxy S10 will be Samsung's best camera-phone ever, suggests leak

The new Galaxy A7 is the first Samsung smartphone to sport a triple rear-camera setup - a title that was rumored to belong to Galaxy S10. However, a new report has tipped-off S10's camera specifications, suggesting that the upcoming flagship is primed for an even more significant accolade - the title of being Samsung's best camera phone ever. Here's everything we know so far.
The latest report claims that Galaxy S10 will sport a triple camera setup comprising a 12-MP (1.4-micron pixels) main sensor with f/1.5-f/2.4 variable aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Autofocus (AF). Further, there will be a 16-MP (1-micron pixels) wide-angle lens with 123-degrees field-of-view, an f/1.9 aperture (without AF and OIS), and a 13-MP (1-micron pixels) telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture, OIS and AF.
Notably, the same specs were earlier leaked in a report which claimed that only the top-end S10 variant will feature a triple rear-camera. The report also noted that the primary sensor would be in the middle with the wide-angle and telephoto sensors on either sides.
Previous reports and reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo have suggested that Samsung will offer three variants of its upcoming 10th-anniversary edition flagship. Firstly, there's a Galaxy S10+ (codenamed Beyond 2) which will succeed the Samsung Galaxy 9+ and pack high-tech stuff. Then, you have Galaxy S10 (codenamed Beyond 1) and lastly, a new cheaper entrant with trimmed down specs which is codenamed Beyond 0.
Reportedly S10+ and S10 will also feature a newly developed ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor - a feature Samsung confirmed a while back. Further, the cheaper S10 variant will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner - much like the new Galaxy A7. Samsung is also expected to incorporate 3D face scanning, possibly for the high-end variants and leverage it to improve its AR Emoji.
