Samsung Galaxy S25 series gets One UI 8.5 beta 2

Technology

Samsung just dropped the second beta of One UI 8.5 for Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra users in India.
This update is all about smoother performance and bug fixes, and it's built on Android 16 QPR2 with the latest December security patch.

What's new in this beta?

The update enables handy camera features like Dual Recording and Single Take through Camera Assistant.
It also squashes nine annoying bugs—think issues with quick panel glitches, icon spacing, random reboots, Bluetooth car audio hiccups, app crashes, and more.

Want to try it out?

If you've got a Galaxy S25 series phone, just open your Samsung Members app (make sure it's updated), log in with your Samsung account, tap the One UI 8.5 Beta banner, and sign up to get the build.
The second beta is now rolling out in India and Poland, after launching earlier in other regions such as the US.
