    What's the story

Indian IoT company Smartron has launched its first wearable in the country called tband for Rs. 4,999.

It comes with a silicone strap and a stainless steel buckle, but as a launch offer, users can also get the tband with an additional premium leather strap.

The wearable is available in black color and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart starting May 13.

    Features

Keep track of your overall health index score

The tband features heart rate, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring capabilities to uniquely measure fatigue and stress.

It is bundled with the thealth app which allows users to track calories, running distance, and sleeping patterns.

As for heart health, it can continuously measure heart rate and resting heart rate.

For this, Smartron has partnered with health companies like Portea, Talwalkars, Growfitter, FeetApart, and Healthsignz.

    Information

The tband can do more than track basic fitness parameters

The tband can be used to set customizable alerts for waking up or taking medicines. It also features a do-not-disturb option and inactive and SOS alerts. It is compatible with all Android and iOS devices so can be used to read SMS and call notifications.

    Specs

The tband is sleek and lightweight in design

The Smartron tband sports a 0.96-inch OLED single-touch display.

It features 4MB of RAM and a 100mAh battery which can run for two days straight on a single charge. The wearable is powered by an MTK2523/MTK2511 processor.

Sensors on the tband include a three-axis accelerometer, ECG monitor, and an optical heart rate monitor.

The wearable is also IP67 dust- and water-resistant.
