The 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded to Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson and Omar M. Yaghi. The trio received the award for the "development of metal-organic frameworks." Kitagawa is currently associated with Kyoto University in Japan and Robson with University of Melbourne in Australia. Finally, Yaghi works at the University of California in US.
