Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has reduced the prices of V15 and Y17 smartphones in India. Citing retail chain sources, 91Mobiles reported that both the mid-range devices have received a permanent price cut of Rs. 2,000. Reportedly, the price cut is effective across all major offline retail stores, while the revised pricing is yet to be reflected on e-commerce channels. Here's more.
Both the smartphones have received a price cut of Rs. 2,000. After the price revision, the Vivo V15 is now available at Rs. 19,990 (earlier price: Rs. 21,990), while Y17 is retailing at Rs. 15,990 (earlier price: Rs. 17,990).
To recall, the Vivo V15 sports a notch-less all-screen display achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera, while the back houses a triple rear camera setup along with the fingerprint sensor. The phone is backed by MediaTek Helio P70 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable upto 256GB). Lastly, it packs a 4,000mAh battery and runs Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.
The Vivo V15 offers a triple rear camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.78) main sensor, paired with an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 5MP (f/2.4) sensor. For selfies, it has a 32MP (f/2.0) shooter packed in a pop-up module.
Separately, Vivo Y17 features a 6.35-inch HD+ dewdrop notched display up front, while the back houses a triple rear-camera setup along with the fingerprint sensor and gradient finish. Powering the smartphone is MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Further, it packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support and runs Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.
Vivo Y17 houses a vertical triple rear camera array comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) main shooter, paired with an 8MP (f/2.2) wide-angle sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone sports a 20MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera.
