Vivo V23e 5G launched in India at Rs. 26,000
Vivo has launched its latest V-series handset, the V23e 5G, in India. It carries a price-tag of Rs. 25,990 for the sole 8GB/128GB variant. The smartphone is available in Sunshine Gold and Midnight Blue color variants. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, a 44MP selfie camera, an AMOLED display, and a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support.
- The Vivo 23e 5G is the latest addition to the V23 series, which currently includes the V23 and V23 Pro models. It was launched in Thailand in November.
- Vivo is aggressively expanding its portfolio of smartphones in India to take on Xiaomi and Samsung. So far, the company has launched at least eight new handsets as part of its Y-series, T-series, and V-series.
The Vivo V23e 5G features a waterdrop notch design, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication. At the back, the handset sports a triple camera setup. The smartphone bears a 6.44-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The color options available are Sunshine Gold and Midnight Blue.
The Vivo V23e 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) main shooter, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens. On the front, the handset sports a 44MP (f/2.0) snapper for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo V23e 5G draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it boots Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 baked on top and houses a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset offers support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.
