Vivo V23e tipped to launch in India at Rs. 26,000

Vivo is gearing up to launch its new V-series handset, the V23e 5G, in India on February 21. In the latest development, the price of the smartphone has been leaked courtesy of 91mobiles. It is tipped to carry a price-tag of Rs. 25,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant. To recall, the phone had made its debut in Thailand last November.
- The Vivo V23e 5G will join the vanilla V23 and V23 Pro models that were introduced in India earlier this year.
- It will be positioned as the entry-level model in the V23 series to take on rivals from brands such as Samsung, Motorola, and Xiaomi.
- The handset will attract customers with features like a 44MP selfie snapper, 44W fast-charging support, and an AMOLED screen.
The Vivo V23e 5G features a waterdrop notch with a noticeable bottom bezel and an in-display fingerprint reader. On the rear, it sports a rectangular camera unit. The device offers a 6.44-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 60Hz refresh rate. It will be available in Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold color options in India.
The Vivo V23e 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, comprising a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it sports a 44MP snapper for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo V23e 5G is fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it runs Android 11-based Funtouch OS 12 and houses a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.
The Vivo V23e 5G will be up for grabs in India at Rs. 25,990 for the sole 8GB/128GB model, according to 91mobiles. The availability details of the handset will be announced at the time of its launch on February 21.
