  • A few days back, we reported that Vivo is all set to launch the Y19 smartphone in India as a successor to the existing Y17.

    Now, a report by 91Mobiles has claimed that the handset would cost Rs. 13,990 for the 4GB/128GB model.

    The smartphone, which recently went official in Thailand, offers waterdrop notched display, gradient design, triple rear cameras, and mid-level internals.

  • The Vivo Y19 offers a familiar waterdrop notched design with noticeable top and bottom bezels.

    On the rear, the gradient finished panel houses triple rear cameras with LED flash, and a physical fingerprint sensor for secure authentication.

    The handset features a 6.53-inch LCD display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

  • In the imaging department, Vivo Y19 offers a triple rear camera setup comprising a 16MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and another 2MP (f/2.4) lens to capture depth details.

    Up front, the phone offers a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.

    Moreover, both the front as well as rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.

  • The Vivo Y19 draws power from MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core processor, coupled with upto 6GB RAM and upto 128GB of storage.

    Under the hood, it runs FunTouch OS 9 and packs a solid 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.

    Lastly, it offers all latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

    When will it arrive in India?

  • As of now, there is no official word on the availability of Vivo Y19 in India. However, according to reports, Vivo will launch the handset as a successor to the Y17 model in the country sometime soon.
