Vivo Z1 Pro, with Snapdragon 712 chipset, to launch soon

In a bid to take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy M40, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Realme 3 Pro in the mid-range segment, Vivo is working to launch a new Z series smartphone in India. Dubbed as Z1 Pro, the phone will feature Snapdragon 712 processor, a massive 5,000mAh battery, and a 32MP selfie snapper. Here is our roundup.

Vivo Z1 Pro: At a glance

The Z1 Pro will be Vivo's first smartphone in India to feature a punch-hole design. Up front, it will offer a near all-screen look with a tiny display cut-out on the top-left corner and a sizeable bottom bezel. On the rear, the gradient finished back will house triple rear cameras and a physical fingerprint sensor.

    Under the hood

According to the teaser, Vivo Z1 Pro will be the first smartphone in India to be powered by a Snapdragon 712 processor. The phone will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support and will run Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9. Also, it will feature a bunch of turbo modes including cooling turbo, AI turbo, center turbo, net turbo, and game turbo.
