PV Sindhu will lock horns with Spain's Carolina Marin in the final of the Badminton World Championship today.
Sindhu had defeated Akane Yamaguchi on Saturday 21-16, 24-22 to seal a spot in the finale.
Notably, in the World Championship, Sindhu had won bronze medals in 2013 and 2014, and silver in 2017.

Sindhu took down Indonesia's Fitriani and South Korea's Sung Ji-hyun to proceed to the quarter-finals.
Sindhu, then, beat the defending champion Nozomi Okuhara 21-17, 21-19 in the quarter-final to guarantee herself a 4th medal in the World Championship.
This match will be Sindhu's chance to take revenge after being defeated by Marin in the finals of the Rio Olympics.
How tough an opponent is Marin?
Marin's achievements throughout her career have been astounding and it will be apt to say that Sindhu will face a huge challenge from the Spaniard.
She won the World Championship consecutively in 2014 and 2015.
She is also an Olympic gold medalist, having won it in the Rio Olympics 2016 defeating Sindhu herself.
