Football: Barcelona remain unbeaten, Chelsea and Arsenal win

There was plenty of football action this weekend with football's biggest names going head to head. Chelsea locked horns with Champions League finalists Liverpool, while Arsenal ran riot at the Emirates in Arsene Wenger's last home game. The icing on the cake was the El Clasico which never fails to amuse us. Here is a wrap-up.

10-man Barcelona ensure they are still unbeaten this season

Barcelona's unbeaten run in La Liga remained intact after managing a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid in last night's El Clasico. Luis Suarez gave the hosts the lead early, but Ronaldo pulled things back just minutes later for Real. Sergi Roberto's sending off piled pressure on Barcelona but mercurial Messi scored before Gareth Bale ensured that the spoils were shared.

Chelsea beat high flying Liverpool at the Bridge

Conte might be destined to leave Chelsea but the Italian hasn't given up on a top-four finish. Chelsea claimed a stunning 1-0 victory over high-flying Liverpool. The win takes them just two points behind 4th placed Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool are currently placed 3rd with 72 points and a game in hand while Chelsea are placed 5th with 69 points and two games in hand.

Arsenal put 5 past hapless Burnley

It was a memorable night for Arsene Wenger as the outgoing manager took charge of his last Premier League game at the Emirates. Arsenal managed to beat Burnley 5-0 courtesy of goals from Aubameyang, Lacazette, Kolasinac and Iwobi. The fixture was a swansong for Mertesacker, who will retire at the end of the season to take over Arsenal's youth academy
