He achieved the milestone in the third ODI in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. Albeit in a losing cause, de Kock made a fine 106 runs from 89 balls. Though Jayasuriya also scored seven hundreds against India, he needed 89 games to register this tally. Notably, the legendary Sri Lankan all-rounder also owns the record for the most ODI runs against India. Jayasuriya scored 2899 runs against the team at an average of 36.24. His tally also includes 14 fifties besides seven tons. The southpaw is also the most capped player against India in this format.
