Benjamin Reginald Mcdermott is an Australian right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. Born on December 12, 1994, he is the son of former Australian Test cricketer Craig Mcdermott and the former Australian domestic cricketer Alister Mcdermott. He is associated with Brisbane Heat, Tasmania, Melbourne Renegades, Hobart Hurricanes, Australia, Queensland, Australia A, Derbyshire, Australia Under-19, and Winnipeg Hawks in domestic cricket. Mcdermott made his international debut in October 2018, in the T20 international match against UAE. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut in June 2021 against West Indies. As of 2021, he has played 17 T-20 internationals with an aggregate of 164. His average is 13.67 and his highest score is 35 runs.
