On June 19, 2018, the England versus Australia, 3rd ODI at Trent Bridge, Nottingham saw the hosts score a record-breaking 481/6 in 50 overs. Jason Roy (82), Jonny Bairstow (139) and Alex Hales (147) ran riot as the Aussies were left startled. In response, the visitors folded for 239 runs to hand England a 242-run win. Adil Rashid claimed 4/47 for England.

In January 27, 1986, the 12th match of the Benson & Hedges World Series Cup, saw New Zealand score 276/7 in 50 overs. Bruce Edgar and John Wright slammed respective 61-run knocks.
