    What's the story

Pakistan kept their hopes alive in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019, as they beat New Zealand in match number 33 of the World Cup at Edgbaston.

Kiwis suffered their maiden loss in CWC 19.

Batting first, NZ posted 237/6 with Jimmy Neesham (97*) playing smartly.

Classy Babar Azam then helped Pakistan chase down the target.

    Here are the records broken.

    Pakistan pacers

Pakistan pacers Amir, Afridi script these records

Mohammad Amir (1/69) raced to 16 wickets in the 2019 World Cup.

He equalled England's Jofra Archer (16 scalps).

Amir also conceded 18 runs off an over.

That was Pakistan's most expensive over in this World Cup.

Shaheen Afridi (3/28) bowled the most economic spell by a Pakistani pacer since Wasim Akram's 2/27 in Manchester in the 1999 World Cup.
