England win the first T20 against India
England took a 1-0 lead in the T20 series as they chased the target of 148 runs with 11 balls to spare. After a good bowling performance, England put on an amazing batting show with captain Eoin Morgin scoring 51 runs and Joe Root scoring 46. Yuzvendra Chahal picked up two wickets in the same over, but could not help India defend their total.

While the first match is played today, the second will be played on 29 January and the last will be on 1 February.
