The new jersey also features a golden IPL badge on the arm, a first by the tournament to honor the defending champions of 2025. KKR's Chief Marketing Officer Binda Dey said the three stars have been added from around the Gemini constellation. Notably, all three dates fall under this Zodiac. The dates of their title wins have been marked to register these stars, making it an eternal celebration of their success.

KKR won IPL 2024 after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final. The Knight Riders claimed theit third IPL title under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer. Notably, Gautam Gambhir was their mentor for the season. Iyer was released by the franchise following the season. They are yet to announce their skipper for the impending season.
