The seasoned cricketer also admitted to understanding the team-building pressure as a captain for three seasons.

Despite the difficulties of the auction process, Rahul was thrilled to join Delhi Capitals. He said, "But at the same time, I knew this was the right step for my career. There was excitement too...I'm really happy to be joining Delhi Capitals." Rahul's bond with owner Parth Jindal makes his new role in IPL 2025 even more exciting. "Parth Jindal, the team's owner, is a close friend, and we have spent a lot of time outside of cricket," he added.
