Jurgen Klopp: Salah will take 15 years to match CR7

There is no doubt that Mohamed Salah has been on fire this season. With 32 goals in the Premier League this season, he was the Golden Boot winner and his fantastic form could see him compete Messi and CR7 for the Ballon d'Or. However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes it will take Mo Salah 15 years to match Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mo Salah needs 15 years to be measured beside Ronaldo

"Mo had a fantastic season, but Cristiano has played 15 seasons like this. He has scored something like 47,000 goals - crazy numbers," Jurgen Klopp said.

Salah has scored 44 goals this season

Salah has scored 44 across all competitions in his maiden campaign at Anfield. He also won the Golden Boot, PFA Players' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year. Salah's exploits also guided Liverpool to the Champions League final where they will lock horns with two time successive champions Real Madrid on May 26 in Kiev.

Champions League final could decide who wins the Ballon d'Or

The Champions League final might be a crucial moment in the deciding who will win the Ballon d'Or this season. Salah has been on par with Messi and Ronaldo and winning the title could make him favorite to win the Ballon d'Or. But Klopp insists Salah has a long way to go if he has to match Ronaldo's achievements and trophies.
