Now, Bayern Munich have officially confirmed the severity of Neuer's injury. The club released a statement saying, "Manuel Neuer suffered a torn muscle fiber in his right calf." The diagnosis was validated by FC Bayern's medical team. The statement further added that "He will therefore be out for the foreseeable future."
