What's the story

As Team India prepares for the T20I series against Afghanistan, they were treated to a unique pre-series photoshoot. The team's social media managers presented them with AI-generated images in an 80s style, a trend that has been taking over Instagram lately. The players took turns trying to identify their teammates from these retro-inspired edits in a video shared on Instagram.

Player responses

Varun Chakravarthy left speechless by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's edit

The AI photos drew varied reactions from the players. Varun Chakravarthy was left speechless by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's 80s edit, while Axar Patel burst into laughter at his and Abhishek Sharma's edited pictures.

In a light-hearted moment, Patel even joked about one of the images, saying, "Iska toh 80s ka banega bhi nahin," suggesting that the person in question didn't quite fit the 80s look.

Team camaraderie

Ishan Kishan, who appeared toward the end of the clip, jokingly asked the media team to pack up as it ended.
