Former captain of the South African team, Faf du Plessis is a right-handed batsman and right-arm leg-break bowler. In times of crisis, it is safe to say that du Plessis was the man the team could always turn to.
He made his Test debut in 2012 against Australia at the Adelaide. His inning with AB de Villiers helped the team snatch a thrilling draw against the hosts. He then went on to play some brilliant knocks.
