Mariners coy on Bolt at the moment

Multiple-time Olympic champion Bolt attracted a lot of fans in the friendly game for the Mariners. He hasn't been offered a contract yet by the Australian outfit. Time is running out for the Mariners with the A-League season starting this weekend. The Mariners are waiting for the Football Federation Australia to decide whether it will contribute to a possible US$2.1 million offer to Bolt.

Personal

Our take: Bolt should accept the offer

Bolt should take the offer, which is on the table. The athlete has had trials in South Africa, Germany and Norway in the past and it didn't work out. But now with the Mariners still waiting on the decision, it is time to move on.
