Former Australian captain Aaron Finch has said that star Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli doesn't need to take a leaf out of Rohit Sharma's book. Finch's comments come ahead of IPL 2025's first match on March 22 between RCB and Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. While Kohli is known for his consistent run-scoring, Rohit's main focus has been to provide blistering starts in white-ball cricket in recent years.

"When you look at the way that Rohit's done it, have a look at the players that he's had around him," Finch told PTI. Finch also highlighted Kohli's ability to lead RCB out of difficult situations. He said, "When Rohit's made that conscious decision, he's had Virat coming in behind him at number three."
