    With the year coming to an end, it seems only pertinent that we look back upon it and dwell on certain moments WWE provided us in 2018, which will stay with the fans for long. 2018 has been one of the most revolutionizing years in WWE. Here are five moments that have stood apart from others and made a place in history.

    Daniel Bryan returns to in-ring action

    One of the most popular superstars of this decade, and a fan-favorite for whom everyone gathered under the Yes! Movement banner, Daniel Bryan had to quit wrestling in 2016. In 2018, he made a return to the ring and is currently the WWE Champion. Bryan has taken on a heel personality presently, and this courage from an ultimate fan-favorite is truly appreciable.

    Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut in WrestleMania 34

    Ronda Rousey, the former UFC Bantamweight Champion, made her WWE debut in WrestleMania 34, teaming up with Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. An acclaimed athlete like Ronda joining WWE, when their women's division was going through a transition, was an important moment in the company's history. The Baddest Woman in The Planet has already taken the company by storm.

    Roman Reigns relinquished his Universal Championship as leukemia resurfaced

    Raw was stunned to silence in October when Roman Reigns announced live on television that he will be relinquishing his Universal Championship. Reigns revealed that he has been fighting the dreaded disease leukemia for 11 years and it has come back to haunt him. The face of the company leaving at the peak of his career was a shocking moment for the WWE fans.

    WWE held its first-ever all-women's pay-per-view

    WWE women's resurgence reached its climax when it was announced that WWE will be holding an all-women's pay-per-view, Evolution, for the first time ever. In the main-event, Ronda defended her women's title in a match against Nikki Bella, which saw a lot of interference from the challenger's sister, Brie. Legends like Michelle McCool, Trish Stratus, and Lita were also part of the event.

    Raw celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2018

    WWE Raw is the most important thing which has happened to wrestling since WrestleMania. And, when this historic television program reached its 25th anniversary mark, all WWE legends came out in a Raw episode to celebrate the moment. Vince McMahon received the stunner from Stone Cold when the two met after a long time inside the squared circle.
