US embassy in Baghdad targeted by drone strike

In a separate incident, the US embassy in Baghdad was targeted by a drone strike. An Iraqi security official confirmed, "A drone hit the embassy." The attack comes after two strikes on the Iran-backed group Kataeb Hezbollah, killing two members, which included a key figure. On Friday, US President Donald Trump claimed that all military targets on Iran's Kharg Island were "totally obliterated," while the oil infrastructure was left untouched.
