What's the story
A magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck China's Tibet region late on Thursday. The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said the quake was at a depth of 10 km in northern Tibet. The epicenter was hundreds of miles north of the regions of Nepal and China that were hit by a devastating flash flood, which has killed over 1,000 people.
