According to Reuters, the country has unveiled a new, futuristic "smart" city named Arkadag, an unofficial title given to Berdymukhamedov by the country's media, where 'Arka' means "behind" and "dag" means "protector." It was to honor his 66th birthday!

A source working closely with the Turkmenistan government told Reuters that this new, smart city can house 73,000 people. All the buildings are white and the apartment blocks have seven stories each. Only electric vehicles are allowed in the city.
