Both airports are critical nodes for international travel, particularly during peak holiday seasons like December.

Shanghai and Delhi airports make their mark
Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) ranks sixth with 4.32 million seats, a solid 7% increase from last year. Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) comes seventh globally with 4.31 million scheduled seats—an impressive 9% year-on-year growth. These airports highlight the shifting dynamics of global air travel as they continue to expand their capacity and connectivity.
