You can now book Audi's SQ8 SUV in India
What's the story
Audi India has opened bookings for its latest luxury SUV, the SQ8. Customers can book the vehicle by paying an initial amount of ₹5 lakh through the company's official website or myAudi connect app. The new model is positioned between the standard Q8 and RS Q8 in Audi's Q range. It will officially launch on March 17.

The SQ8 will be launched in India on March 17. It is expected to be priced at around ₹1.8 crore (ex-showroom). The standard Q8 currently retails at ₹1.13 crore, while the RS Q8 is priced at ₹2.34 crore. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director of Audi India, said that the new SQ8 will appeal to customers looking for more than just a conventional luxury SUV experience.
Performance
It can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.1 seconds
The SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 TFSI engine that churns out 500hp of power and 770Nm of torque. It can go from 0-100km/h in just 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 250km/h. The model comes with quattro permanent all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension sport, and all-wheel steering for improved handling and comfort on different terrains.
Design
A look inside and out
The exterior of the SQ8 features silver detailing on various elements, including a large grille with a silver surround and LED Matrix headlights. Silver accents are seen on the grille inserts, bumper air inlets, outside rear-view mirror housings, trim on the rear bumper, and along lower doors. The interior is done up in leather and Alcantara upholstery with 'S' badging on seats/steering wheel.
